Verdict
It’s no great surprise to see GREAT FIGHTER turned out again quickly under a penalty after his demolition job at Ayr last Friday. Though an argument could be made that the visor had the desired effect, Jim Goldie’s charge had been running well previously over hurdles in decent company and he’s difficult to oppose today. Aldeburgh is better on the Flat and Sleepy Haven remains in the handicapper’s grip but Idder and Mountain Kingdom can probably make their presence felt and Meadowcroft Boy would have a chance if recapturing his best form.
