Verdict

Question marks attached to all, but LAYBACH makes appeal of a workable mark having warmed to his task on his chasing debut here last time to finish a 15 length second behind Bold Perk. However, it was a fair effort, especially on debut, in the context of this race and he should improve considerably for the run. He can take advantage of the weight he receives from Authentic Act. The latter is clearly a danger but all successes in Britain have been at his beloved Sedgefield where he seems pounds better than anywhere else. Tae Kwon Do didn't do too badly on his chasing debut at Uttoxeter behind Mister Matt but seems harshly treated over fences at present and probably needs to drop a few pounds to be more competitive.
