In depth
Verdict
In the novices' hurdle. Delightfully is selected ahead of Laragh Hill and Fushe Jo. The Len Lungo-trained winning French import Delightfully should be noted in the betting and, in fairness, would not have to be outstanding to land this run-off-the-mill affair. Accordingly, he gets the vote. Others that should be noted are Howard Johnson's Fushe Jo - who achieved a rating of 80 on the Flat - and Irish raider Laragh Hill, whose Fontwell run behind Tension Point last time was not too bad. Finally, Mr Crystal showed enough at middle distances on the Flat to be given some thought on his hurdling debut, and Tony McCoy being booked for another Irish raider Casco Bay attracts some interest but the gelding does need to improve on what he has so far shown if he is to feature. The selection, once again then, is Delightfully.
