Verdict
Emily's Flyer was due to run in a handicap here yesterday and, in any case, would probably struggle to beat KILBREE KID and Ocean Club on these terms. Preference is for Tom George's charge, who won over this trip between the flags and has taken well to hurdling. He's on a hat-trick after a couple of wins over 2m6f at Newton Abbot and can concede 7lb to Brian Ellison's six-year-old. Another recruit from the point-to-point circuit, he won easily at Cartmel before finishing third in a better race at Bangor but may not be as good as his official rating suggests.
