Verdict
Although the market may be the best guide here, a chance is taken that Kandelin will be up to the task against fellow newcomer Razor Royale, with Laureldean Melody best of those to have raced so far. Running in the now familiar Graham Wylie silks, Kandelin hails from the family of Garrison Savannah and Zongalero on the dam's side, so a future over fences beckons for him as well. Sure to have been well galloped, he is taken to pop in first time. Razor Royale is a half-brother to a hurdles winner, and will be expected to act on the fast ground at least on breeding, while of those to have seen the racecourse before, Laureldean Melody, third at Market Rasen recently, makes most appeal. In truth this is a bit of a guessing game, and as such just a tentative vote goes to Kandelin.
