    Nonrunner

    In depth

    Verdict

Another unexposed runner Ben Britten makes the most appeal here, although No Sam No, Divet Hill and Vicentio are capable of making this a good test. Vicentio is in good form at present and is respected as such. His North Yorkshire-based trainer is a rare visitor to Perth and any market move for him should not be dismissed lightly. Divet Hill has been a really consistent performer for his connections and is an honest type that can go well despite top weight. However, he has been below his best so far this year and he now has something to prove. No Sam No stays well and fully deserved to get her head in front when scoring at Worcester last August. However, she now looks weighted up to the hilt and is vulnerable to a more progressive type on her reappearance. Which is where we turn to Ben Britten, who was not showing any signs of stopping when winning at Hexham eighteen days ago. The stiff nature of that course will have helped in preparation for this step up in trip. And Ben Britten looks more than capable of following up in this modest company.
