In depth

Verdict

Takeroc ran well before fading into third in the closing stages at Sandown last time. He'll be on the premises with a similar effort but LATERLY is just preferred. Steve Gollings' charge finished a creditable third behind Toubab in better company at Doncaster last month and the handicapper has given him a chance dropping him 3lb in the weights. Cadoudalas showed the benefit of a slide down the handicap with a better effort at Chepstow last time but Lord Singer has gone off the boil of late after a string of placed efforts earlier in the season. Coolbeg has shown recent signs of a resurgence and looks best of the rest.
