In depth

Verdict

Jodawes has already been placed here and at Leicester and should give another good account but the four-year-olds BALDER SUCCES and Songsmith could dominate this with preference for the former. Alan King's French import has a decent NH pedigree and won on his racecourse debut at Auteuil in October. Despite the penalty, he can get the better of Lucy Wadham's gelding who has failed to finish at Market Rasen and Warwick so far but showed promise at Folkestone in between and can make the frame with a clear round here. Super Ken may be best of the rest.
