Verdict

Goring Two was out on his own when over-jumping at the last here last month and unseating Charlie Deutsch. He'll be backed to gain compensation, though is 11lb higher. Marky Bob is only 2lb higher than when scoring at Fakenham in November but heavy going is a real concern. Generous Helpings was weakening when unseating his rider at Lingfield and stablemate Major Martin was tailed off when pulled up shortly after. PADDY THE STOUT's recent completion record is a worry but he'll handle conditions and is back on a winning mark. He might still be good enough to give weight to this bunch.
