In depth

Verdict

Lady Of Longstone won a Worcester bumper in June but Madam Be came up short twice in that sphere at Worcester and Fontwell. Millicent Silver is interesting, however, and has more scope than Maypole Lass who will be trying to get off the mark over timber at the ninth attempt, though has gone close the last twice. We'll take a chance on BLAMEITALONMYROOTS, who won a point-to-point in Ireland in March by five lengths and had plenty more in the locker. Jennys Surprise has also won between the flags and, having been placed twice in bumpers, will appreciate the switch to hurdling.
