Verdict

Third Wind made a winning start in a course and distance maiden last month and probably has more scope than Commanche Red but both have to give weight to PHOENIX WAY (NAP), who finished ahead of subsequent Doncaster winner Hold The Note when second in what looked a hot contest at Sandown last month. That was a big step forward on his debut fifth at Bangor and a similar effort here would suffice – the step up in trip is a plus. It's Got Legs has placed in six of his nine races over hurdles to date but a busy schedule seemed to catch up with him last time at Ascot.
