Verdict

Black Centaur had Lugg River behind when second at Hereford in December but was no match for an easy winner. Call Off The Dogs was only third off this mark here last month having won earlier at Fontwell while veteran Crown Hill has gone up 4lb for finishing second at Huntingdon and hasn’t won since 2018. Robsam was improving when last seen but hasn’t raced since September, though in-form Richard Johnson keep the partnership intact. JUNGLE PROSE takes a big step up in trip but has been staying on in the latter stages of recent races and may enjoy a fitness advantage over a few of these.
