In depth

Verdict

Mrs Peacock hadn't been showing much before attracting some support and landing a poor contest at Hereford. She's up 6lb but this isn't much better and she should get involved again. ROCKY RYAN, who was returning from a very long break, was well supported for a handicap over the C&D in February but just failed to cope with Velator, who has since won a better race at Newbury. The pair were a long way clear of the remainder and Jim Best's charge can defy a massive 12lb rise in the weights. Free Falling was in very good form in the autumn and is now back on the same mark as when scoring at Exeter on fast ground. She looks a big threat with Marc Goldstein able to claim his 3lb.
