In depth

Verdict

The Henderson horses have started the new season in cracking form and a chance is taken that WHITLOCK can boost the tally. Yet to produce the quality of his Flat performances under John Gosden, he did land a jumpers' bumper in January and now returns after wind surgery - a mark of 93 may underestimate his ability. Billy's Angel has mixed fences, hurdles and bumpers on recent starts on a variety of surfaces and his consistency and adaptability should see him in the mix despite top weight. The four-year-old Salamanca School and course and distance winner Global Wonder are also respected.
