Verdict

Tiquer won easily at Uttoxeter in March but that wasn't much of a race and he's not exactly reliable. VIKEKHAL has been knocking on the door and made the odds-on Howlongisafoot pull out all the stops here last time - a repeat of that effort would probably suffice. Venetian Lad won this last year but has struggled since winning at Fontwell on Boxing Day and none of the others make much appeal with Speedy Bruere returning from a lengthy absence.
