A runner-up in both previous starts over track and trip, CIVIL WAR arrives on the back of a couple of wins on the Flat. Given his good form, Gary Moore's charge gets the vote to open his account in this. Money Talks was beaten less than a length here last month and should figure again along with Bermacha, fourth at Lingfield in November. Both Song Light and Flamingo Beat won on the Flat last year and may prove best of the hurdling debutants.
