    Verdict

Skint's Wincanton victory was boosted by the subsequent success of runner-up The Reformer and Nicky Henderson's four-year-old has to go on the short-list along with Brackloon High, who was clear of the remainder when second to Recession Proof at Lingfield. Amirico overcame inexperience to score at Fontwell last month but the form of that race has a question mark hanging over it and more interesting is Jetnova, who beat a couple of well-regarded types over C&D four weeks ago. But we were more taken with ON TREND's defeat of good yardstick Raduis Bleu at Lingfield and the Jammaal gelding, still open to plenty of improvement, gets the vote. Bumper winner Kind Of Easy is also worthy of a mention in a potentially informative novice event.
