In depth

Verdict

Tidal Dance makes his handicap debut having been placed twice in bumpers and over hurdles. He probably won't be far away if improving a little on his second at Folkestone while Award Winner bounced back to form at Uttoxeter and has now won three times this season when McCoy has been in the saddle. Promised Wings can't be ignored but Twin Bud is still a maiden after 20 runs over hurdles and is currently on a career-high mark. HAZY BAY is a durable stayer and made a promising reappearance at Towcester last month. He doesn't stand much racing but, if that hasn't taken too much out of him, could be the answer to this as he's already won twice over C&D on soft going. The remainder have a bit to prove at present.
