Verdict
WATERGATE won over today's trip at Folkestone in March and gets the vote to make a winning reappearance. He was unlucky not to score over fences on his return from a lay-off early this year when clear and falling at the last and is just preferred to Sandown winner Owner Occupier, who makes his seasonal debut today. Little Roxy landed a double over 2m at this track last season but is 6lb higher on her first start since April, while Hawk Gold was placed in a couple of starts on fast ground here last month but this is tougher. Bolanderi could prove best of the rest.
