Verdict

Mr Jim won last year’s renewal off today’s mark but both market leaders unseated on that occasion and he’ll find this tougher. CHAMPION CHASE is preferred as he was having only his third start over fences when runner-up over course and distance a fortnight ago and Martin Bosley’s charge gets the vote with further progress likely. Bennachie ran his best race in a chase so far when second at Huntingdon on Boxing Day but Little Jimmy has the more recent form with a third at Sedgefield last month though he was due to run at Newcastle yesterday.
