In depth

Verdict

Mr Boo, Brooklyn's Gold and Appach look the three to concentrate on in this novices chase with the vote going to Mr Boo. The selection won well last time out when beating Walcott Lad and although he has a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and under similar conditions here he is taken to defy the handicapper. Brooklyn's Gold rates the main danger as he will relish this faster ground and was a fair second behind Haile Selassie last time so he should be noted in the market. Appach is another worthy of respect as he won in facile fashion last time out when beating Phase Three and he should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Prato is from a shrewd yard but his over all form leaves him with a little to find and with this in mind for the winner we return to Mr Boo.
