    In depth

    Formwatch

Barakana (IRE) Trainer has yet to start firing and is best watched on first effort over these obstacles.

Brief Contact (IRE) Will struggle to make an impression here.

Caliban (IRE) Has finished runner-up on last three runs and although that form is difficult to assess at this stage he is a tentative tip in a poor contest.

Celtic Rover Pulled up on debut and readily dismissed.

Eljutan (IRE) Not a bad performer on the Flat and not without a chance on first run over these obstacles; however will do better when stepped up in trip.

Greycoat Little worthwhile form on the Flat and is easily overlooked.

Investor Relations (IRE) Well beaten on first try over hurdles although this race is much weaker and should do better against some poor rivals; one for the short-list.

Jacks Birthday (IRE) Stable is going quite well but this one may find one or two too good here.

    Mulsanne Impossible to fancy.

New Horizon (IRE) Hard to make a case for.

Route Barree (FR) Not a bad Flat performer who finished third at Stratford on first try over hurdles; that was a slowly run affair so may do better here; looks a leading contender.

Peggy's Song Flat form is poor and looks to have little chance today.
