In depth

Verdict

FIRST LORD DE CUET joined David Pipe after landing a point-to-point in Ireland last April and made a bright start for the yard at Taunton last month, making most and just failing to hold off Perfect Predator, who was receiving 9lb. Compensation awaits as Get Up Them Steps has been looking one-paced and should do better over further. Martin Keighley does well with his bumpers so the four-year-old Robsam is one to keep an eye on but Mario De Pail has a chaser's pedigree.
