Verdict
CHAMPAGNE COURT (NAP) , runner-up in a Grade 3 handicap hurdle at Chepstow last month, should take this after making an impressive debut over fences at Sandown last weekend for which he carries a 7lb penalty. Diable De Sivola was placed three times in decent company earlier this year but is now 0-8 over fences and has changed stables. Mercy Mercy Me, a winning bumper and placed at Grade 2 level over timber, makes his chasing debut as does dual hurdles winner Fairway Freddy, who has never raced on testing ground. Gleno completed a double over hurdles earlier this year but was beaten a long way on his chasing debut and unseated his rider at the first on his next start at Kempton.
