      Verdict

      Auld Sod was beaten when unseating his rider at the last at Fontwell but may have needed that run and this is a modest contest. The Gary Moore pair Flaminger and CALL OFF THE DOGS could dominate the betting and the finish with the latter the least exposed over fences and receiving 3lb. None of the others make much appeal, though veteran Tzar De L'elfe is a former course and distance winner.
