Faustinovick found one too good yet again when just missing out at Southwell and a 3lb rise makes life more difficult while FORGOT TO ASK is another looking to put a frustrating string of placed efforts behind him. But Tom George’s charge will appreciate today’s faster going and may prevail this time having finished clear of the rest when runner-up at Wincanton.
