Verdict

Course and distance winner HARMONISE was pulled up when last seen over hurdles but he’s enjoyed a successful campaign on the Flat this year, winning at Windsor and Leicester, and seems better on quicker surfaces nowadays. Zamperini won a maiden here in May and was then second at Fontwell. He will have needed a spin on the level last month so rates a threat along with Jumping Jack, another who is fit from the Flat. Cubswin is on a career-high mark but she won at Newton Abbot in July and was third over 1m4f at Newmarket later. Romanor needs to bounce back from a poor run at Cartmel while the three-year-old What Will Be faces a stiff task from 10lb out of the handicap.
