Verdict
Plenty of quantity rather than quality and it is to ASHLEYS PETALE we turn although Gallileo Figaro and Friends Of Tina also make the shortlist. The form of Ashleys Petale has been modest to say the least this term but she had exhibited a degree of ability on better going and with Nick Gifford's runners enjoying something of a resurgence of late, we'll take the chance that she could have caught the winning habit. Gallileo Figaro is at least in form. A solid run at Huntingdon ensures she'll be a short price in the betting. Friends Of Tina is dropped in trip this afternoon after not quite seeing out three miles. Letham Island has been dropped down the weights after a series of lamentable efforts. Nevertheless, it's not often that the handicapper is seen to be so generous. Celtic Heather was highly thought of when trained by Carl Llewellyn but she's left those stables and now it's the turn of Jim Best to work his magic with another castoff. The yard are also represented by course specialist, Jades Double. Noun De La Thinte represents a bang in form yard so cannot be ignored even with such moderate form figures in evidence. Ashleys Petale is picked.
