Verdict

It's hard to know what Shrewd Investment has done to find himself on a mark of 108 but Jim Best will be hoping first-time blinkers can galvanise Highland Legacy into action. Be Ashored is 10lb higher than when scoring at Newton Abbot in October and Twin Bud's one good run came over a longer trip on soft ground. Lemon Silk has also shown an aptitude for easier going so this can go to DE WELSH WIZZARD, who hasn't had much racing but scored at Chepstow two years ago and looked ready to win again when close behind The Boss at Warwick a fortnight ago.
