Verdict
Copperwood has been in cracking form and has already won four times this year. He's edging up the weights but another bold bid is anticipated while Count Bertoni appears to be running into a bit of form judged on last week's third at Beverley. Merchant Of Medici, Vito Volterra and Tapis Libre could all play a part if at their best but Iulus had been struggling prior to dropping into selling company at Leicester and is now fitted with an eye-shield. Talent Scout isn't out of it but it may be worth giving another chance to SIR TREVOR, who looked a decent prospect when winning over track and trip in September as a two-year-old. Things haven't quite gone to plan this year but, dropped in distance and back on faster ground, he could take advantage of the easier grade after a short break.
