Father Mckenzie finally won a maiden when scoring over track and trip recently but the less-exposed Grinty is preferred on his handicap debut. Heatongrad finished well ahead of Halawain when third in a tough nursery at Ayr and stablemate Yarmouk is not out of this with Paul Hanagan taking over the reins. Novoman drops to 6f for the first time having failed to keep a straight line at Newbury last time and also drops in class along with KREB’S CYCLE. The top weight came up against higher rated horses than these in a conditions race at Ripon recently and should be thereabouts in this grade with Silvestre De Sousa taking over the reins.
