Verdict
Mr Wolf has a race named after him earlier on the card and success for the popular veteran would provide a perfect finale for many a racegoer. However, the eight-time course winner is asked to concede weight all round and SILVANUS is taken to spoil the party in an open contest. The hold-up performer requires everything to drop right for him but wins in his turn and sits on a workable mark here. Eleven-time winner Hinton Admiral has yet to oblige over the minimum trip and in-form Steel City Boy rates a more dangerous opponent from the lower strand of the weights. Bertie Southstreet was in good nick when his season was truncated last summer and therefore any market support would be interesting.
