Verdict
DARAIYM races under a penalty after a good win at Catterick last week, but is still bottom weight, and can follow up that success, with the main dangers expected to be Yonder and Dramatic Solo, but it's a wide open affair, and it wouldn't be a big shock whatever wins. Paul Green's gelding is regarded as a late developer, and its seems a positive to step up in trip from that win over 2 miles. Yonder steps up in triptoo, and has his second outing of the year having been fourth last time out. He'll get the trip though having started in bumpers, including winning on debut. Dramatic Solo's won over two miles on the polytrack at Lingfield, and she's the top rated in the small field. Kentucky Boy is the only course winner in the race, but that was 2 years ago, and although placed regularly since, has yet to come home first. River Danube's two placings on turf have been with a little cut in the ground , and is another that began life in bumpers. Although a lowly grade it's competitive fare, with our preference being for Daraiym.
