Verdict
A tricky looking nursery to commence the card and we suggest Johnmanderville to get the better of Predict and Tagula Breeze. The Karl Burke-trained selection improved for the step up to this trip last time when winning at Hamilton, and pedigree suggests both that fast ground won't be a problem, and that this stiff track will suit as there is evidence of a fair bit more stamina. Predict makes her nursery debut and is another who should be suited by this stiffer track after scoring in a weakish maiden at Wolverhampton, so she is respected. Tagula Breeze also broke his maiden tag at Redcar last time and ground and trip suit. A mark of 81 looks to be no more than fair but he can get heavily involved. Madame Jourdain needs to improve after contesting sellers and claimers, Red Cell and Mister Green were both found out in this type of race last time, and the solid form of Verinco looks more worthy. Brian Smart's colt could emerge as a serious threat but we'll stick with Johnmanderville.
