In depth

Verdict

This is not a strong renewal of this conditions event and Geordieland should easily be capable of landing first prize, Baddam and Love Brothers look to be the best of the others. Geordieland has taken on some of the best stayers around, including Yeats and Septimus in Group contests. This is by far his easiest task of the season and he cannot be opposed. Baddam has plenty of ability and did win at Royal Ascot in 2006. However he is rated fourteen pounds inferior to the selection and may have to settle for second spot. Stable companion Love Brothers has nearly forty pounds to find but still looks best of the remainder. All in all it should be a walk in the park for Geodieland who gets our confident vote.
