        Verdict

        BILLY ROBERTS won a division of this race in 2017 and has leading claims back on a winning mark having gone close at Wolverhampton on his reappearance. Arctic Sea has a similar chance on the back of last week’s length defeat at Chelmsford having been gelded since last year while Celtic Artisan finished closer at Newcastle last time but is without a win on Turf in 19 attempts and Buckland Beau is another to have done all his winning so far on the all-weather. Thornaby Nash is not badly treated on his return to action with Farhh Away and Straight Ash others to note making their seasonal debuts.
