Riptide won this last year off a 7lb lower mark and was again successful over course and distance in September when Embsay Crag was behind. He should be a factor again, though recent rain probably isn't in his favour. CAPE TRIBULATION has only won once on the Flat so far but was a very smart staying hurdler and won a Grade 2 chase at Cheltenham last year. He was far from disgraced behind Moidore on soft going at Newcastle 10 days ago and looks well treated in this. Rosie Rebel has been looking one-paced over shorter so might appreciate the extra yardage while Petaluma stays well and is starting to look well handicapped now.
