In depth

Verdict

True Destiny returned a clear winner at Nottingham last time but has been raised 8lb for his trouble while Echo had rattled-up a hat-trick in lower grade contests before beaten at Doncaster. Attention Seaker finished in front of Bodacious Name when third at Carlisle while Valkenburg won over 2m2f here in April and is preferred to recent Wetherby runner-up General Allenby. But SASSIE (NAP) won at Kempton last week with the rest nowhere and Sylvester Kirk’s filly can strike again while the iron is hot with an apprentice’s allowance negating a chunk of today’s 5lb penalty. Michael's Mount could go well back on the Flat and is preferred to last year’s fourth Wind Place And Sho.
