QUOTELINE DIRECT gave notice he was back to form when runner-up at Haydock and duly obliged in a ladies' race over this course and distance last week for which a 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent a quick double. Alfred Richardson had been racing over 1m4f before dropping back to this trip and scoring at Wetherby. He's up 5lb but Paula Muir's claim takes care of the extra. Firlinfeu led for a long way when tackling an extended 1m3f at Windsor so should b suited by today's shorter trip while Military Madame was returning from a long break and making her handicap debut when third at Beverley and looks certain to improve. Lewis Edmunds was on board when Kilbaha Lady scored at Nottingham and though his mount has since been beaten back there she has to be considered on ground she loves.
