AL QAASIM has two victories over this trip at Southwell to his credit and made a bold bid to gain his first Turf success over an extra 2f at Redcar. Distinction is 1-26 but very nearly doubled his winning tally at Nottingham last week when just failing to hold the late thrust of Dandy Maestro. Broctune Red has had his last 12 starts at Newcastle, winning there twice, while Le Reveur's last two victories have been on the all-weather though he was only beaten a length at Windsor a week ago. Six-times winner Royal Prospect looks best of the remainder.
