Verdict
PURPLEPLAY is well clear on official ratings and though her form figures are hardly convincing she should get back on the winning trail after two poor efforts in Group 1's in Australia. A Group 2 winner on soft ground at Chantilly last summer, she won't mind any further rain. Fall In Love is next best in the ratings, 12lb below the selection, and she's joined Roger Varian from France where she's raced at a very high level without really looking like winning. Al Agaila completed a hat-trick of victories on Polytrack over the winter when she landed the Winter Oaks at Lingfield but faces a stiffer test here as does Dha Leath though Gavin Cromwell's raider would enter the equation if the ground turned heavy.
