        Verdict

        Charlie Johnston is striking while the iron is hot with La Pulga, who made all for a comfortable victory at Hamilton on Thursday and has a 5lb penalty. Matchless has run well on fast going over hurdles since landing a soft-ground handicap over this trip at Doncaster. CARRIGILLIHY (NAP) has been here four times and won the lot. He's up 3lb for last month's success on fast going but looks the one to beat. Zealandia won the Queen Mother's Cup at York last summer and is steadily running into form while C'mon Kenny is only 1lb higher than when scoring at Sandown in July.
