      Verdict

      An uncompetitive contest which appears to be at the mercy of McQueen. Fulke Johnson Houghton's colt has yet to race on turf but has shown more than enough ability on the Polytrack surface at Lingfield this winter to suggest that a race of this nature is well within his compass. The son of Barathea has twice finished in the frame behind useful rivals in maiden company last month and a reproduction of either effort should suffice at this lowly level. The opposition is particularly weak but Cheeky Girl had Sun Cat behind at Southwell last month and can confirm the placings on favourable terms so looks the one for the forecast in an uninspiring heat.
