          Verdict

          Landaman was second in a modest maiden at Folkestone on his debut but found out in better company at Ripon next time. That's still the best form in this but he could be vulnerable against well-bred newcomer MONTEFELTRO. A half-brother to German Derby winner Buzzword, Mahmood Al Zarooni's has found a decent opportunity for his son of Medicean to make a winning start. Fellow debutants Avison and Sky High Diver may need this, while Labroc showed little on his introduction at Yarmouth in the spring.
