Verdict
This feature event has attracted some high class juveniles and Champlain could be up to the task, Empire Day and Farleigh House are also expected to run well. The selection has been highly tried since winning an Ascot maiden. He finished fourth in the Royal Lodge at the same track and that form should be good enough to win in Listed company. Empire Day is hard to assess as he is one from one. However he did beat subqequent winner Sunshine Kid in good style and is open to any amount of improvement. Farleigh House had shown plenty of promise before bolting up in a maiden last time. He is well thought of by the yard and there could be plenty more to come. Zafonical Storm also won nicely last time and is another to consider for the places, but Champlain has the Group form in the book and he gets the verdict.
