Verdict
DISTANT MEMORIES stood little chance against Workforce at Sandown last time but could take the beating today. A Group 3 winner at Windsor in August, he can boast the best form and the highest rating in this field while Tom Tate's charge will also handle soft ground if the rains arrive. La De Two has not improved since winning a decent handicap at York last season and last month's Listed race winner Red Cadeaux looks a bigger threat, but Free Agent seems better over further nowadays. The progressive Vulcanite is facing a tough task on his return to action and the remainder look up against it on today's terms.
