        Verdict

        Not the greatest maiden on paper and the vote goes to ZEGNA in the hope that he'll improve past some of these. Hameildaeme has had plenty of chances and along with Secret City doesn't set the toughest of standards to aim at. The selection was fifth on his debut at Ayr when well beaten behind The Kyllachy Kid. That form doesn't look anything special but he has the potential to improve. Starla Dancer is also once-raced and along with Northern Flyer should have learnt from a debut outing, whilst Kinigi is one to watch in the betting for a stable who don't send many up to the track. Asakusa is the most interesting newcomer and Mark Johnston's fairly cheap daughter of Royal Applause could easily be good enough on debut; the market may well help guide. Speedy Guru is another for consideration after a much better run at Leicester last time and looks well-drawn; however we will take a chance on Zegna.
