        Verdict

        An open contest confined to apprentices to round off proceedings where Lucayon Dancer, Tidy, Force Group and Tizzy May are those that make the shortlist and the vote goes to Lucayon Dancer who will be suited by the step back to 8f having failed to see out the 1m 2f trip at Musselburgh. A low draw means his rider will be able to obtain a position close to the rail and course configurations will suit Dandy Nicholls' charge. Tidy was note doing his best work in the closing stages and should be suited by the likely fast pace while Force Group shaped with some promise over the course last season. Market moves for Force Group should be noted on his seasonal debut as he has a very capable apprentice on board. Tizzy May has dropped down the ratings and should be better for a recent outing. Lucayon Dancer is picked to land the finale.
