Christmas Light is generally consistent though she's only won twice in 32 starts and hasn't run since well beaten over hurdles in November. Thrust Control won a Beverley seller when rated 50 then followed up in a Catterick handicap. He couldn't cope with another weight rise back at Beverley a fortnight ago and the assessor may have got to him. Sardanapalus went up 5lb for his victory at Thirsk in September and has been unable to cope so it's SAREEAH who is given the nod. She showed some promise on Polytrack for Clive Brittain and was making her debut on Turf for David O'Meara when catching the eye at Thirsk earlier this month. That was her first start for a year and she's on a very lenient mark. Imaginary World is consistent enough and has won from a much higher mark over the track and trip in the past.
