Verdict
Despite the size of the field, few can be seriously fancied but Night Games is an obvious exception and is the TEAMtalk choice to overcome a high draw. Alec Stewart's charge has shown a fair level of ability having run creditably in a valuable Doncaster sales race before finishing runner-up in a Newcastle maiden last month. A repeat of either effort should suffice and Kieren Fallon is a most positive booking as the Irishman has few peers at this track. The form of Heidelburg's debut effort when second at Nottingham has been given a boost by the winner subsequently and, with further improvement on the cards, the Night Shift filly should provide the main danger. Luke After Me is another to consider following a promising initial start and could reach the frame.
